6 WEEK THROWING COURSE | ALL LEVELS
These courses run once a week for two hours over a 6 week period. All the courses are suitable for ALL levels including beginner - bar those marked as Intermediate, which is dedicated to those who are further their skills.
The first three sessions will be focused to the basics of throwing on the wheel, beginning with how to centre and pull a cylinder and moving on to how to stretch the clay into bowls and other complex forms. On the fourth session, students will begin to turn their work from the previous sessions, and the final week each student will be able to glaze their work in a selection of 10 of our house glazes.
Each attendee has their own dedicated potters wheel and there is a maximum of 10 people who attend each class. Expect to keep anywhere between 6-8 pieces, depending on what happens when you are throwing! If you would like to keep more than 8 pieces, we charge an extra £10 a pot.
There is a choice of Evening and Afternoon sessions, please double check your timings before booking!
INTERMEDIATE level course is reserved for students looking to enhance their skill in a specific area and already have some experience working on the wheel. We advise students who already feel comfortably centering 1kg of clay and pulling walls evenly.

RESCHEDULING, CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
* If given 8 or more days notice from the start of the course (first session) we can either reschedule, refund or generate a gift code for rebooking your class.
* If given 7 days or less notice due to illness of any kind, or for any other reason, we cannot reschedule or refund. There are no exceptions to this, so please do not ask or pressurise our staff.
* In the scenario of 7 days or less notice of you not being able to attend, your seat always remains yours to give to a friend or family member to attend. We can only take one individual for the duration of a course, not an array of people on different sessions, ie only one person can attend all or some of the sessions.
* We regret we will not be able to replace or rearrange missed sessions. Please do not ask us to make exceptions and please understand we cannot accommodate everyones diary changes and sudden change of circumstances.
