Andra Roman

Andrea Roman is a London based ceramic designer, she studied product design in UNAM in Mexico city and specialises in hand-thrown functional work. 

Her pieces are characterised by the absence of glaze in the outer surfaces highlighting the qualities of the stained clays she works with. Her interest in straight lines and simple forms allow her to focus on the clay body itself and experiment with texture and tone to create joyful and rhythmic compositions with her ceramic pieces.
